Project Name : Napier University Pipework replacement
Description : Replacement of leaking thin walled carbon steel heating and cooling pipework at all of the buildings at the Sighthill campus.

Project Scope : Horizon provided full detailed design and provided client monitoring role during the construction phase. The final solution was to replace the rooftop pipework as this was exposed to the elements with stainless steel pipework with galvanic corrosion insulated connectors to avoid dissimilar metals touching.
Detailed assessment of the chemical treatment and PH levels of the systems was required for the system to work.
