Experts in Energy & Sustainability

At the heart of every project, we undertake a commitment to energy and sustainability.

Right from the outset, we work collaboratively to design building systems that prioritise low energy usage, low carbon emissions, and low operating costs.

Our extensive range of energy and sustainability services is available for both domestic and non-domestic buildings, new developments, and existing buildings, including significant experience in the challenges of our listed and historic building stock.

Working with our MEP teams we have an extensive knowledge of renewable technologies and can ensure the technical considerations of moving to a net zero solution are embedded in our design strategies.

Our approach to designing buildings that are sustainable is underpinned by our use of dynamic simulation modelling, a sophisticated form of building energy modelling that can accurately predict energy and thermal performance.

We utilise IES and our accredited Low Carbon Energy Assessors who are Level 5 users, allowing us to carry out complex building analysis, we carry out complex building analysis and generate 3D models of each project. From here, we conduct a range of assessments tailored to the specific needs of each project, including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Daylighting reviews, Overheating and Ventilation studies, and Energy and Carbon reviews.

As we work towards the goal of net zero, we can create digital twins to accurately measure the impact of energy improvement options and develop a phased approach to carbon reduction.
