Horizon offer a range of mechanical and electrical consultancy services within the construction industry from the scheme and detailed design to utility applications and various survey types including dilapidation, acquisition, condition and asset surveys. We also provide full sustainability related services including energy strategies, energy planning statements, SAP/EPC calculations for building control and final construction requirements.

Mechanical and Electrical Design Consultancy

We provide mechanical and electrical services throughout the UK and Ireland and the EU, although many of our projects are in the local context of Fife, Edinburgh and Glasgow. We currently have a number of projects in the Highlands and Islands, Aberdeen, Inverness and Stornoway.

We typically procure our work through recommendations from existing clients. We pride ourselves on the fact that the majority of our work is through continued relationships with an existing and expanding client base.

Our Services

We provide design documentation through all the RIBA design stages from initial Stage 1 to Stage 6 construction and final hand over. The design documentation includes plans, layouts, schematics and specifications for all types of mechanical and electrical services. We can provide design documents for all utility design and building warrant design. We also provide professional advice on best services solutions for each project. As well as design, we provide mechanical & electrical survey services which includes advice on the condition and budget costs for replacement and repair of services systems.
